Every year on February 2nd, there are crowds that gather in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to see if the groundhog Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow. Phil's emergence on Groundhog Day is said to predict the weather...six more weeks of winter or an early spring. While Phil attempts to predict the weather, we can be assured that we are experiencing the seasons in our lives for a reason!
Every season or event in our lives happens at its perfect time as part of God's larger plan. We may not completely understand the season when we are in the midst of it. Sometimes the nights seem long and days seem short. It seems like the season may last longer than we would like. Other seasons of sunshine may seem to fly by. Either way, God is by our side, strengthening and encouraging us. In every season of our lives, we should share the time with God!

Dear God-
Thank You for being with me in each season that I walk through. Help me to both rely on You and celebrate with You in every season. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
