There times when it is difficult to sleep. Restless nights can turn into early mornings and sluggish days. Sometimes we can't sleep well because we have a lot on our minds. However, not sleeping usually only makes things worse. When we are tired, stressed, and can't seem to sleep, we should turn to God. He is willing to take away our worry and stress as long as we let go!
We sometimes try to control things ourselves. We may try to do too much without asking for help and it begins to wear on our bodies and minds. Instead of losing sleep over things we cannot control, we need to turn to God and turn things over to God! When we call on God, we can be reassured that He will lead and guide us. He will ease our burdens and allow us to lie down and sleep in the safety of His watch over our lives!
Instead of losing sleep, find peace by allowing God to take control!

Dear God-
Thank You for being willing to lighten my load. Help me to be open to letting go and allowing You to take control. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
