Sometimes our minds get restless. Worry may start to creep in or someone may say something that upsets us. A restless mind can keep us from falling asleep and getting the rest that we need. A restless mind doesn't have to have control over us, though. We can find peace in God!
God's promises can give us peace. God promises to love us and to give us strength. God can overcome anything that we may be facing or may be giving us a restless mind. When our mind is restless and we have trouble falling asleep, we can turn to God. We can talk to God through prayer, then we have to trust in HiM. Through God we can have a steadfast mind through His power, love and peace!
God is ready to take away our restless and sleepless nights and replace them with His peace!

Dear God-
Thank You for all of Your promises. Please take away any worries and restlessness so that I can experience Your peace. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
