In high school, my band director's favorite line was to, "Do it again and don't just go through the motions!" Sometimes our routines become going through the motions and not giving our all. In our spiritual lives, we don't want to just "go through the motions." When we worship, God wants our all, too!
God doesn't want us to simply go through the motions of worship. He wants us to be fully committed to Him. We need to worship God deep down in our souls. We need to seek His spirit and His truth. We can deepen our love of God and our understanding of Him, making our worship more meaningful and our relationship closer to God!
