"You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.  Amen." -II Peter 3:18 (NASB)
There are times in our lives when we realize that we need to grow.  While we may not be able to grow taller, but we can grow in other ways.  We can grow physically stronger by making sure we eat right and exercise.  We can also grow stronger spiritually.  As we spiritually grow, we need to be sure we are being fed the right food and exercising God's love and forgiveness!

We can grow in our knowledge of God, then we can put this knowledge into action.  To be sure we are getting spiritually stronger, we need to be sure we are not eating the spiritual "junk food" that the world may be offering.  Instead, we need to make sure we consume God's Word, filled with His grace, mercy, and love.  By filling ourselves with the spiritual "super food" from the Bible, examples of Godly men and women, Godly fellowship, and prayer, we are sure to grow strong in Him!

Be sure to fill yourself with spiritual "super food" so you can grow strong in God!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for loving me and for providing me with the spiritual "super food" that I need to grow stronger and closer to You.  Help me to avoid the world's "junk food" and to always turn to You for nourishment.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
