Life can get busy. Whether busy with home, work, or church life, we can get caught up in all that is happening. There are times when we are so distracted by the events in our lives and things on our mind that we miss the answers to our questions or the simple pleasures of life.
There are times that the "obvious" might be kept from us. God knows what we need and when we need it. However, there are other times that we become preoccupied with the events of our lives and we don't see Jesus standing beside us ready to lend a hand. When we begin to question or worry, we need to take a moment to stop, look, and listen to see and hear the answers and pleasures of our lives. The burning in our hearts may be the voice of God trying to get our attention!
Pray for open eyes to see the works of God in your life, then take the time to stop, look, and listen to experience all that He has in store for you!

Dear God-
Thank You for always being there for me, even when I am distracted or unwilling to stop, look, and listen. Allow me to be open to seeing and hearing Your plan so that I can follow the plan that You have laid out before me. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
