At my house, we have seen our share of broken things this week. Luckily, most of them were able to be fixed with a little bit of super glue. Whether we use glue or tape, we can try to fix things rather than just throwing them out. What happens when we, as individuals or as a society, are broken?
We are blessed to have super glue for our lives as well! Even when we feel broken or we feel the society we live in is broken, we can turn to Jesus. Jesus was sent by God as a sacrifice for sin, to redeem each of us. Whether it is a broken body, broken spirit, or broken society, we can turn to Jesus, the One who holds all things together. When we make Him the head of our lives, we can be better than just "put back together", He can make us a whole new being with a fresh start!
Ask Jesus to be the "super glue" that puts you back together as a whole new being!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem and restore me. Help me to live as a new being in Your love and to share Your love with others. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
