Temptations. They are all around. We are faced with temptations everyday in many different ways. Sometimes temptations are even disguised or falsely justified by the devil as we see in the devil's temptations of Jesus. The devil knows the Bible...and how to twist its words to tempt us.
Whenever we are faced with temptations, we need to remember the example set by Jesus. We need to know God's Word so that we are not deceived by misinterpretations of scripture. We also need to be able to stand firm and tell the devil that we will not be swayed from our faith in God.
The next time you are faced with a temptation, no matter what form it takes, take a moment to ask God for the wisdom and strength to resist the temptation. God's loving guidance can steer you around whatever obstacle may be in front of you. Rely on your faith and on God's presence in your life to keep you moving forward for Him!

Dear God-
Thank You for loving me and never leaving me. Please give me wisdom and strength whenever I am faced with temptations. Help me to live a Godly life for You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
