One of my daughter's teachers referred to her pencil box as the students' tool box. The pencils, erasers, crayons, scissors, and glue sticks were the tools that were relied on to complete most work in class. It is always helpful to have the right tools when trying to complete a job. Sometimes, we are the needed tools!
God has a job for each and everyone of us. We can choose to be tools of sin or we can be tools of God's righteousness. While following God and offering ourselves as His tools may not always be the easier or most popular choice, it is the best choice in the long run! God has saved us from certain death and granted us the opportunity to live in His glory for eternity. As we live on earth, we should be His tools, helping others see God's presence and power in this world and beyond!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your love, for salvation, and for eternal glory with You. Help me to be the right tool for You and Your plans for my life. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
