A former coworker used to offer our middle school students different words of advice. One piece of advice was that timing matters. Timing of actions and behaviors matter and the consequences, whether positive or negative, may depend on when the actions and behaviors occur. This lesson doesn't just apply to middle school, it applies throughout our lives.
Timing is important in our lives, but it's not always about our timing. In life, we need to talk to God and wait in His timing. God will care for us and He will guide us, but we need to be willing to follow His plan. God has reasons and seasons for all of the events in our lives. As long as we trust Him, we will know that the timing is perfect!
Timing matters...make sure it is God's timing!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your love and care. Help me to know and follow Your timing in my life. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
