An author and public speaker recently visited my school. The whole school had read the author's autobiography and how he overcame obstacles to build a better life for himself. When asked if he would go back and change anything about his journey, he said he has thought about the wisdom he acquired. While he wouldn't change anything because he is happy in life, he thinks about the wisdom that he could share with his younger self.
We may not be able to go back and talk to our younger selves, but we can tap into a source of wisdom and insight that is greater than our own. God's wisdom transcends anything that we know or could ever hope to know. We can call on God and trust in His wisdom and guidance in our lives. We can value the experiences He provides in our lives, learning and growing through each of them. In the end, we can be prepared as the people that God intended and we can be assured by and share His wonderful wisdom!
Gain wisdom through God, act on His wisdom, and share His glory and wisdom with others!

Dear God-
Thank You for the experiences that have helped me to become who I am. Please guide me, refine me, and give me the wisdom to be Your faithful servant. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
