While I haven't been as consistent lately, I enjoy exercise and working out. I know that I feel better whenever I am consistent with being active and training. Sometimes it can be a challenge to fit everything in our busy schedules, but just as it is important to train our bodies, it is even more important to train our spirits!
We can train to be physically fit and healthy, taking care of the bodies that God has given us. We can also train to know God's Word and the ways that He instructs us to live. When we train in godliness, we are not just preparing ourselves for life here and now, but for eternal life and everything that comes with it! We should continue to "train hard" by following God, reading His Word, talking to Him through prayer, learning more about Him, and being in fellowship with other believers. We can know God on a personal level and He can become our personal spiritual trainer!
Allow God to be your personal trainer so you can train hard in godliness!

Dear God-
Thank You for the gifts of Your Word, prayer, and redemption through Your Son. Help me to continue to learn and grow so that I can have a spirit trained in godliness as I build a relationship with You. Through Your Son I pray, amen.
