Our lives are made up of the choices we make and the paths we take. We know that the devil is waiting to strike and we need a plan to defeat him. There are times in our lives that require us to stand and fight. Other times may require a different approach. All of our actions and reactions require support from God.
Our approach to life needs to be rooted in God. This requires us to both fight and to make peace, to go against the tide of society and to serve those around us. Jesus demonstrated what I recently heard described as a "warrior's spirit" and a "servant's heart." When modeling our lives after Jesus, we need to be in communication with God and then follow His lead. We need to fight for what we know is right, but we need to do so through serving others. God has revealed His Truth and Jesus has shown us how to follow God. We need to act on these examples and become warrior servants for God's Kingdom!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your Truth and the example of Jesus. Help me to follow You and Your guidance in being a warrior servant for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
