Life makes many demands on our time and resources. There always seems to be a shortage of time and a list of things to do if we only had more money. Sometimes we need to step back from looking for more and evaluate how God is calling us to use what we do have, the time and resources that He has given us, more wisely. How can we give to God's Kingdom?
The Bible gives us many examples of how we can work for God and His Kingdom. Our modern world has many of the same needs that Jesus and His followers faced in their time. Through it all, we are called to be a people of action for God. Donating financially to worthy causes is one way of helping, but we are also called to work hard. We need to be engaged in God's work, through giving our time, talents, and resources. It is up to us to roll up our sleeves and give of ourselves to accomplish great things for the glory of God!
Take time talk to God and assess how He wants you to give to His Kingdom!

Dear God-
Thank You for all that You give to me and do for me. Help me to realize all of the blessings in my life and help me to see how I can share my time, talents, and resources to further Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
