Life gives us a lot to consider. Sometimes in all that we are trying to accomplish, we begin to lose sight of what really matters in our lives. As we rush through life, we cannot be focused only on earthly pleasures or the world or realm we live in now. We also need to consider our eternal realm!
While we might think that the things that "feel good" now as goals in our lives, we really need to consider how our actions will impact our lives in the long term. Pleasing God and living for eternity with Him are not the result of pleasing ourselves with earthly things. We need to communicate with God through prayer. We need to read His Word. We need to apply His teachings to our lives. As we live according to God's will, we experience something greater than the pleasures found in the earthly realm as we become part of God's holy realm that is filled with His blessings and glory!
Follow God's will and move away from the realm of the flesh to the realm of God's holiness and blessing!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for saving me and for blessing me. Help me to follow You and to live eternally in Your realm of holiness and blessings. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
