We all have wants and needs. We often have interests of our own when we ask for things, even if we are asking for someone else. In talking to God, we need to think beyond ourselves, our families, and our friends. Our requests to God may help us, but they can also glorify Him!
We definitely need to ask God for guidance, help, and forgiveness for our sin, but our requests shouldn't stop with ourselves. We can ask God to use our requests for the glory of His name. God can help us through our needs and He can use us to show others His glory. Along with praying to God and asking Him to use our requests for His glory, we can also tell others about all that God has done in our lives. When we ask, we can focus on bringing God glory through His actions in our lives!
