No matter the time or place in which we live, we are witnesses of history. The things we see and hear will become the images of our time. While we are witnesses of history, we can also be active participants in creating it!
God is in control of all things, but He also allows us to have free will, to make choices. We can choose to follow God or we can choose to take a different route. The history that we make will depend on these choices. As we start a new year, we can choose to witness God's glory, to share this love and glory with others, and then record this as our history. We can both witness and create a history that is centered on God!
Be a witness to God's glory and then share it and create a God-centered history for your life!

Dear God-
Thank You for allowing me to choose the direction that my life will take. Help me to make choices focused on You and Your will in my life. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
