Throughout our lives we all have choices to make. In the middle school where I teach, we try to help our students understand the importance of choices and the consequences of choices. When confronted with situations that require a choice, we need to be prepared to make the right choice.
Sometimes we think about the choice in front of us, trying to decide what is best. We can know the right choice by asking for God's guidance and listening to His will. It is only God's will that will endure when the rest of the world has faded. We can prepare to make the right choice by knowing God's will through the study of His Word, fellowship with other believers, and talking and listening to God. Once we know God's will, we can make the right choices that will help us succeed!
Know God's will so your choices can endure longer than worldly lusts!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your willingness to guide me. Help me to know You and Your will so that I can make the right, enduring choices. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
