-Psalms 25:6-7 (NASB)
There are times that we may struggle to let go of things. It is reassuring to know that God is full of love and compassion. He is willing to forgive our sins and forget all of the wrong that we have done in our past, no matter the size or consequence in our lives. We can learn from our past, but we shouldn't let it keep us from moving forward and closer to God. Remember: You are a child of God. He sent Jesus to allow each of us the opportunity to move on from our sinful past and live in salvation!
Don't get weighed down by sins from your past. Ask for forgiveness and allow God to help you forget your "youthful transgressions"!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for sending Your Son to die for my sins so that I can have salvation and a relationship with You. Please help me to move away from the sins of my youth and help me to draw closer to You each and every day. Through Jesus, my Redeemer, I pray, amen.
